Pablo Garaffa (Pablo) and Dolores Torre (Lola) are from Buenos Aires, Argentina. They are both professional musicians, biologists, and travellers with a broad trajectory on music and environmental education. They present “Europa Tour 2015/16”, where they will be visiting several European countries. Recently, they have been on a South American tour around the entire South America (50.000km on a year and a half). They were cultural ambassadors of Argentinian folkloric music, presenting themselves in over 30 known stages of 8 South American countries (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and Uruguay). 

 

In ther repertoire they include Argentinian folkloric rhythms such as chacarera, zamba, cueca, etc. Some songs from well-known compositors and interpreters such as Atahualpa Yupanqui and Mercedes Sosa, among others, and also their own compositions.

 

The staging includes typical regional instruments (charango, sikus or samponia, bombo legüero and guitar), images and video projections. Sometimes, they can also perform a sample of argentinian folkloric dances.
